Modena vs Juve Stabia
MODENA, Italy (Interstat) — Kevin Zeroli’s header in the 86th minute lifted Juve Stabia to a 1-0 victory over Modena on Tuesday in a Serie B match at Stadio Alberto Braglia.
Zeroli, a substitute, scored the only goal of the game, finishing off a sequence that included four assists credited to Steven Nador, Salim Diakité, Alessandro Sersanti and Manuel De Luca. The goal came after a prolonged period of pressure by Juve Stabia, which had struggled to break down a resolute Modena defense for most of the match.
The first half was a physical affair, with referee officials handing out three yellow cards in the opening 45 minutes. Diakité was booked in the 11th minute, Nador followed in the 14th and De Luca received a caution just before halftime in the 45th. Sersanti was also cautioned in the 63rd minute.
Modena controlled possession for large stretches but could not convert its chances. The home side entered the match with a strong Serie B record of 13 wins, 9 losses and 8 draws, while Juve Stabia came in at 10 wins, 9 losses and 12 draws. Across all competitions, Modena holds a 13-11-8 mark and Juve Stabia stands at 10-11-12.
The result was a reversal of the teams’ previous meeting this season. On Feb. 22, 2026, Modena defeated Juve Stabia 2-1 at home. The earlier matchup on Nov. 2, 2025, saw Modena win 3-0 at Juve Stabia.
Juve Stabia entered Tuesday’s game having lost its last Serie B outing, a 1-0 defeat to Frosinone on May 1. Prior to that, the team drew 1-1 at Pescara on April 25 and drew 1-1 at home against Catanzaro on April 18. The victory improved Juve Stabia’s away form after a string of mixed results.
Modena was coming off a 2-1 home win against Reggiana on May 1. That victory followed a 1-0 loss at AC Monza on April 24. The defeat on Tuesday halted Modena’s momentum and dropped the team to 13-9-8 in league play.
The match was played under clear skies at the 15,000-seat stadium, with a modest crowd in attendance. Both teams had opportunities early, but the defenses held firm until Zeroli’s late strike decided the contest.
Interstat’s game simulator had projected a final score of Modena 1, Juve Stabia 1. Its ELO system gave Modena a 77.70 percent probability to win before the match.
