Bari vs Suditrol
BARI (Interstat) — Bari and Suditrol played to a scoreless draw Friday in a Serie B match at Stadio Comunale San Nicola, a result that did little to alter the standings for either side as the season nears its conclusion.
Neither team managed to find the back of the net despite a series of attacking moves that were repeatedly thwarted by stout defending and goalkeeping. The goalless stalemate marked the second time this season the two clubs have played to a 0-0 draw, following a Dec. 13, 2025, meeting at Suditrol.
Bari’s record in Serie B now stands at five wins, 15 losses and 16 draws, while Suditrol’s league mark is two wins, 13 losses and 16 draws. Across all competitions, Bari is five wins, 16 losses and 16 draws; Suditrol is two wins, 14 losses and 16 draws.
Key individual performances included six players each credited with one assist, though no goals were scored. Goalkeeper Michele Cerofolini recorded an assist, as did substitutes Simone Tronchin and Silvio Merkaj, forwards Gabriele Moncini and Kevin Piscopo, and midfielder Nicola Bellomo.
Discipline was an issue on both sides. The match saw six yellow cards issued, beginning with Moncini in first-half stoppage time at the 45-plus-second minute. Merkaj was cautioned in the 54th minute, Cerofolini in the 57th, Tronchin in the 60th, Piscopo in the 72nd and Bellomo in the 87th.
The result extended Suditrol’s difficult run of form. In their previous 10 matches across all competitions, Suditrol had lost seven, drawn two and won none, with a 1-0 defeat at Sampdoria on May 1, a 3-0 home loss to Mantova on April 25, a 6-1 loss at Spezia on April 18, a 1-1 draw at Modena on April 11, a 1-1 draw at Cesena on April 6, a 3-1 home loss to Frosinone on March 22, a 3-2 loss at Avellino on March 18, a 0-0 draw vs. Pescara on March 15, a 1-0 home loss to Virtus Entella on March 7, and a 1-1 draw at Venezia on Feb. 28.
Bari entered Friday’s match having alternated results. Their most recent five contests included a 2-0 win at Virtus Entella on May 1, a 2-0 loss at Avellino on April 24, a 3-0 loss at Venezia on April 18, a 2-0 loss at Monza on April 11, and a 3-1 win at Modena on April 6. Prior to that, Bari drew Como 0-0 on March 22, drew Parma 2-2 on March 22, lost 3-0 at home to Carrarese on March 22, lost 2-1 at Frosinone on March 18, and beat Reggiana 4-1 on March 14.
The head-to-head series between the two clubs has been tightly contested. In addition to Friday’s scoreless draw and the Dec. 13, 2025, 0-0 result, their previous meetings this season have shown a pattern of low-scoring affairs.
Interstat’s game simulator had projected a final score of Bari 1, Suditrol 1. Interstat’s ELO system gave Bari a 73.70 percent probability to win.
