CAMPOBASSO, Italy (Interstat) — A Serie C matchup between Campobasso FC and Potenza Calcio on Sunday, May 10, 2026, pits a surging home side against a visiting team struggling for consistency, with an Interstat game simulator projecting a 2-0 victory for Campobasso.

Potenza Calcio enters the fixture at Stadio Selvapiana on the back of a 2-2 draw with Monopoli on April 26. That result extended a middling run for the visitors, who have managed just two wins in their last 10 league outings since mid-February. A 5-2 thrashing of Salernitana on March 28 stands as a bright spot, but consistency has been elusive. Potenza has scored at least once in seven of those 10 matches, but its defense has conceded multiple goals in five of them, including a 4-1 loss at Cosenza on March 5. The team’s road form has been particularly uneven, with draws at Catania and Atalanta BC U23 mixed with defeats at Trapani and Casarano.

Campobasso FC, by contrast, carries considerable momentum. The hosts defeated Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC 1-0 on April 26, extending their strong late-season form. That victory was Campobasso’s fifth win in its last eight matches, a stretch that includes only one loss: a 1-0 defeat at SS Arezzo on March 9. The defensive record has been impressive, with clean sheets in three of the last four games, including scoreless draws against AC Bra and a 2-0 shutout of US Pianese. Offensively, Campobasso has found the net in seven of its last 10 outings, though scoring has occasionally been a struggle, as evidenced by a 2-2 draw with Guidonia Montecelio and a 0-0 result against Ascoli in December.

The Interstat projection reflects Campobasso’s recent dominance. The simulator forecasts a 2-0 home victory for the hosts, who have lost just once at home in their last five matches. Potenza will need to reverse its defensive trends and find a way to break down a disciplined Campobasso back line to avoid a result that would cement the visitors’ slide toward the bottom half of the Serie C table.

Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
