Optik Rathenow vs TUS Makkabi

OPTIK RATHENOW, Germany (Interstat) — Optik Rathenow will host TuS Makkabi Berlin on Saturday in an Oberliga match that carries significant implications for both clubs as the season winds down.

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Vogelgesang Stadium.

TuS Makkabi enters the contest on a three-match winning streak, most recently defeating ET Mahlsdorf 3-1 on May 3. That victory followed a 1-1 draw at Siedenbollentin on April 25 and a 1-0 win over Sparta Lichtenberg on April 19. The visitors’ recent form has been inconsistent, however, with losses to Tasmania Berlin (3-0 on April 12) and Anker Wismar (2-0 on April 5) sandwiching a 4-2 win at FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin on March 22. TuS Makkabi also fell to Berliner AK 07 (3-2 on March 18) and TSG Neustrelitz (4-0 on March 15) before beating Tennis Borussia Berlin 4-1 on March 8.

Optik Rathenow, meanwhile, played to a 1-1 draw at Tennis Borussia Berlin on May 1. That result followed a scoreless draw against Dynamo Schwerin on April 24 and a 2-1 victory at Berliner AK 07 on April 18. The home side also drew Union Klosterfelde 1-1 on April 11 and lost to Lichtenberg 1-0 on April 3. Earlier this season, Optik Rathenow fell to Siedenbollentin 2-1 on March 28 before defeating Croatia Berlin 3-1 on March 21 and Sparta Lichtenberg 2-1 on March 18.

The head-to-head series favors Optik Rathenow in the most recent meeting. On Nov. 16, 2025, the home team defeated TuS Makkabi 4-1.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for TuS Makkabi.

The Oberliga matchup is the second of the season between the sides. Optik Rathenow has shown resilience at home, while TuS Makkabi will look to extend its winning streak against a team that handled them comfortably in the fall.
