LENART v Slovenskih Goricah, Slovenia (Interstat) — NK Race and Brezice meet Saturday in a 3. SNL fixture that could have playoff implications for both sides.

Brezice enters the contest riding a wave of momentum. The visitors have won four of their last five matches, including a 3-1 victory over NK Podvinci on May 9. That result extended a strong run that also featured a 1-0 win over Jadran Dekani on the same day. Brezice has been particularly stingy defensively, posting clean sheets in three of those four victories.

The form line is less consistent for NK Race. The home side played to a 1-1 draw at Zavrc on May 9, a result that snapped a two-match losing streak. Both teams face quick turnarounds after Saturday. Brezice hosts Koper U19 on Sunday in a 1. Mladinska Liga fixture, then faces Zavrc on May 23 back in 3. SNL play. NK Race is off until May 24, when it travels to NK Šmartno Ljubljana.

The 3. SNL season is entering its critical final weeks, and every point matters for positioning. For NK Race, a win Saturday would provide breathing room in the middle of the table. For Brezice, three points would solidify its push toward the upper tier.
