ENUGU, Nigeria (Interstat) — Enugu Rangers host Bendel Insurance on Sunday in a Nigeria Premier Football League matchup at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, with both teams riding momentum from recent victories.

Bendel Insurance enters on a two-match winning streak, most recently defeating Katsina United 1-0 on Monday. That result followed a 2-1 victory at Wikki Tourist on April 19. Before those wins, Insurance endured a 4-0 loss at Kano Pillars on April 5, but have generally been strong defensively, recording six clean sheets in their last 11 outings.

Enugu Rangers also secured a 2-0 victory in their last match, beating Bayelsa United on May 3. That followed a 2-1 win over rivals Enyimba on April 19. Yet scoring remains a concern: Rangers have managed only nine goals in their previous eight games, with four of those matches ending scoreless.
