TEL AVIV, Israel (Interstat) — Beitar Jerusalem defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 1-0 on Wednesday at Bloomfield Stadium in a Ligat ha’Al match.

Johnbosco Kalu scored the only goal in the 45th minute, also recording an assist. Emmanuel Boateng, Luka Gadrani and Boris Enow each provided an assist. Kalu and Enow received yellow cards, as did Gadrani, Brayan Carabalí, Efmamjjasond González, Nana Kwame Antwi, Dor Micha and Grigorii Morozov.

El Yam Kancepolsky was sent off with a red card in the 30th minute.

Beitar Jerusalem improved to 16 wins, four losses and six draws in league play, and 21-5-6 across all competitions. Hapoel Tel Aviv fell to 14-4-1 in the league and 27-7-1 overall.

The teams had drawn 0-0 in their previous meeting in November 2025, while Beitar lost 3-2 to Hapoel in September 2025.
