3K FC vs MCF
NAIROBI, Kenya (Interstat) — A streak of dominance meets a desperate climb when MCF visits 3K FC on Wednesday in a Kenyan Super League match that could reshape the standings.
The visitors ended a four-match winless run Saturday with a 1-1 draw against Soy United, but MCF has managed only one victory in its last 11 games — a 2-0 decision over Kisumu All Stars on April 3. Since then, MCF has gone 0-5-1, scoring just once while conceding eight goals.
3K FC, by contrast, enters on a four-match winning streak, most recently a 3-2 victory at Vihiga United on Friday. The home side has won eight of its last nine outings, outscoring opponents 21-5 across that span. The lone blemish was a 1-1 draw at Darajani Gogo FC on March 21.
Wednesday’s meeting is the second between the clubs this season. MCF claimed a 1-0 win Dec. 17, 2025, but 3K FC has been a different team since. The InterStat game simulator projects a 1-0 victory for 3K FC.
MCF’s form has been erratic. After the Kisumu All Stars win, the club suffered a 3-1 loss at Mombasa United, a 3-0 home defeat to Equity Bank, and a 1-0 loss to Naivas FC. Three consecutive scoreless draws followed before Saturday’s 1-1 result. The defense has been porous — MCF has kept just one clean sheet in its last 10 matches.
3K FC, meanwhile, has been relentless. The team has scored at least two goals in eight of its last nine matches, with wins over Kabati Youth (3-0), Naivas (2-1), Nairobi City Stars (3-0), Nzoia Sugar (3-1), Kampong Speu Province (2-0) and Michael Olunga FA (1-0). The only match without multiple goals was the draw at Darajani Gogo.
After Wednesday, MCF travels to Migori Youth on May 16, then hosts Mwatate United on May 24, visits Kibera Black Stars on May 31 and welcomes Fortune Sacco on June 6.
3K FC hosts SamWest Blackboots on May 10, then visits Mombasa United on May 17, hosts Talanta on May 24 and visits Mwatate United on May 31 before hosting Migori Youth on June 6.
Kickoff is scheduled for Wednesday at the 3K FC stadium. Both teams are fighting for position in the tightly packed Super League table, but the momentum clearly belongs to the home side.
