Follon Gavorrano vs Camaiore Calcio

GAVORRANO, Italy (Interstat) — Follon Gavorrano will look to extend its dominance over Camaiore Calcio when the two Serie D clubs meet Sunday, May 10, in a match with significant postseason implications.

The home side has won all three head-to-head meetings this season, including a 1-0 victory April 2 on a goal that kept Camaiore scoreless for a fourth consecutive matchup. Follon Gavorrano also won 4-1 at Camaiore on Nov. 23, 2025, and 1-0 at home on Aug. 24, 2025. Overall, the Gavorrano defense has not allowed a goal in the past 360 minutes against Camaiore.

But Follon Gavorrano enters Sunday’s match after a 2-1 loss at Tau Altopascio on May 3, snapping a brief two-game unbeaten run. The result left the club with a 4-3-3 record over its past 10 games, including draws against Sporting Trestina (1-1) and Grosseto (1-1) and a 2-1 win at Scandicci. A 2-0 defeat at Foligno on March 15 and a 6-2 loss at GSD Ghiviborgo on Feb. 22 remain low points.

Camaiore Calcio, meanwhile, has struggled to score. It managed a 0-0 draw at Sansepolcro on May 3 — only its second clean sheet in 11 games. The team has lost five of its past seven and scored just two goals in that span. A 5-2 defeat at Siena on April 26 and a 2-1 loss at Terra Traiana on April 19 highlight its offensive woes. Camaiore’s last win came March 15, a 2-0 victory at Cannara.

The visiting team’s 1-1 draw at Poggibonsi on April 12 and a 1-1 result against Tau Altopascio on March 28 show occasional resilience, but consistency has been elusive.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for Follon Gavorrano, which would further solidify its hold on the season series and keep pressure on the top half of the table.

Sunday’s match, organized by Serie D’s Group E, kicks off at 3 p.m. local time. Follon Gavorrano will aim to make home advantage count, while Camaiore seeks its first goal — and first point — against its rival this campaign.
