TURABDIN, Germany (Interstat) — Turabdin Babylon will host SV Hummetroth on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in an Oberliga matchup that pits two clubs trending in opposite directions against a backdrop of recent history favoring the visitors.

Hummetroth enters the game on a high note after a 3-1 road victory against SV Darmstadt II on Wednesday, April 29. That result continued a season of wild swings for Hummetroth, which has alternated between dominant wins and puzzling losses. In its previous 10 league outings, Hummetroth posted a 5-4-1 record, including a 7-1 thrashing of Hanauer FC 1893 on April 25 and a 4-0 shutout of Weidenhausen on March 7. But the club also suffered a 3-0 defeat at Fernwald on April 18 and a 3-2 loss at Hunfelder SV on April 11.

Turabdin Babylon, meanwhile, has been more consistent but struggled to turn draws into wins. In its most recent match, on Sunday, April 19, Babylon drew 2-2 at home against CSC C03 Kassel. That result followed a 4-1 victory over Hanauer FC 1893 on April 11 and a 3-0 win at Waldgirmes on Feb. 28. Babylon’s form over its last 10 games shows a 4-4-2 record, with notable clean sheets against Fernwald (0-0 on March 28) and Weidenhausen (0-0 on Feb. 22). However, Babylon has also stumbled, including a 6-1 loss at Turk Friedberg on Oct. 25.

The head-to-head history favors Hummetroth. In the most recent meeting, on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, Hummetroth defeated Babylon 2-0 at home. That result extended Hummetroth’s winning streak in the series, though the teams have not played frequently. Babylon will aim to avenge that loss on its home ground.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-2 draw, reflecting the teams’ balanced offensive capabilities and defensive vulnerabilities. Hummetroth has averaged 2.3 goals per game over its last 10, while Babylon has averaged 1.9. Defensively, Hummetroth has conceded 1.6 goals per game in that span; Babylon has allowed 1.3.

Both clubs are mid-table in the Oberliga standings, though exact positions are not immediately available. The game kicks off Sunday at a time to be announced.
