Soccer Preview: Vis Pesaro at Juventus Next Gen

ALESSANDRIA, Italy (Interstat) — Vis Pesaro 1898 visits Juventus Next Gen on Sunday, May 3, in a Serie C matchup that pits a visiting side in solid recent form against a home team looking to reverse a head-to-head losing streak. Kickoff is at the Stadio Giuseppe Moccagatta.

Vis Pesaro (8-7-5 in its past 20 matches across all competitions) enters having won two of its last three outings. It posted a 3-0 victory over AC Carpi on April 12, and prior to that suffered a 2-1 loss at Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC on April 4.

The visitors have dominated the recent series. Vis Pesaro owns a 3-1 victory at Juventus Next Gen on March 8, and also won 1-0 at home on Nov. 3, 2025.

Juventus Next Gen (5-6-9 in its past 20) earned a 1-0 win over Guidonia Montecelio FC on April 12, and prior to that defeated Ternana 2-1 on April 8. That followed a 2-2 draw at AC Perugia Calcio on April 4 and a 2-2 draw with AS Gubbio 1910 on March 21.

However, Juventus Next Gen has been inconsistent. Its March 8 loss to Vis Pesaro was followed by a 1-0 win at US Citta di Pontedera on March 4, but then a 2-1 loss at Campobasso FC on Feb. 22 and a 2-0 loss at Ravenna FC on Feb. 15.

Vis Pesaro’s season has been mixed. After the Ascoli loss, it fell 1-0 at AC Perugia Calcio on March 29, then posted a 0-0 draw at Guidonia Montecelio on March 21 before its win at Juventus Next Gen. It also defeated Ternana 1-0 on March 14 and drew 1-1 at US Citta di Pontedera on March 1.
