ESBJERG, Denmark (Interstat) — A first-half goal from Anton Skipper lifted AC Horsens to a 1-0 victory over Esbjerg fB on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in a 2. Division match at Blue Water Arena.

Skipper, a defender, scored in the 25th minute off an assist from forward Julius Lucena. Substitute Julius Madsen and forward Lucas From each added assists in the buildup, though From was cautioned with a yellow card in the 14th minute. Madsen received a yellow in the 82nd, and Lucena was booked in second-half stoppage time.

The win gave Horsens a 1-0 record in the competition and across all competitions, while Esbjerg fell to 0-1 in both. The result bucked an Interstat game simulator projection that had called for a 1-1 draw.
