ZACATECAS, Mexico (Interstat) — Mauro Pérez put Tepatitlan ahead in the 44th minute, but Amaury Escoto equalized for Mineros de Zacatecas in the 71st minute as the teams played to a 1-1 draw Thursday night at Estadio Carlos Vega Villalba.

Pérez’s goal was his first of the season for Tepatitlan, while Escoto netted for the home side. The match featured 10 assists, one each from Luís Cervantes, Emiliano Trejo Pacheco, Gustavo Gutiérrez, Fernando Sámano, Sergio De los Ríos, Alonso García, Diego Aguilar, Luis Hernández and Paolo Ríos.

The game also included nine yellow cards, issued to Diego Aguilar in the 23rd minute, Luís Cervantes in the 25th, Paolo Ríos in the 41st, Luis Hernández in the 49th, Alonso García in the 65th, Gustavo Gutiérrez in the 80th, Sergio De los Ríos in the 83rd, Fernando Sámano in the 85th and Emiliano Trejo Pacheco in the 86th.

Tepatitlan’s Liga de Expansión MX record is now 13 wins, eight losses and 14 draws, while Mineros de Zacatecas moved to 16 wins, 10 losses and 16 draws. The result matches their previous head-to-head meeting Sept. 26, a 3-3 draw.
