Eppelborn vs TuS Koblenz
EPPELBORN, Germany (Interstat) — Eppelborn will host TuS Koblenz on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in an Oberliga matchup that a game simulator projects will end in a 2-2 draw.
Koblenz enters the contest with a 10-match unbeaten streak in league play. Their most recent result was a 2-2 tie against Emmelshausen-Karbach on April 26. Since a 2-1 win over Pirmasens on Feb. 21, Koblenz has recorded four wins and six draws.
Koblenz’s other results this season include a 2-1 win at Eisbachtaler Sportfreunde on April 18, a 3-1 win over FV Engers 07 on April 15, a 1-1 draw at Arm Ludwigshafen on April 11, a 1-1 draw with Gonsenheim on April 4, a 1-1 draw at Dudenhofen on March 28, a 1-0 win over Hertha Wiesbach on March 22, a 1-0 win over Gau-Odernheim on March 14, a 4-4 draw at Auersmacher on March 7, a 3-3 draw at Diefflen on Feb. 28, and a 2-1 win over Pirmasens on Feb. 21.
Eppelborn, meanwhile, has struggled for consistency. They lost their most recent match 3-1 at FV Engers 07 on April 18. Prior to that, they suffered a 7-0 defeat at Arminia Ludwigshafen on April 15. Eppelborn’s last win came March 7, a 4-2 victory over SC 07 Idar-Oberstein. Since that win, they have gone 0-3-1 in their last four matches.
Eppelborn’s other results this season include a 2-2 draw at Gau-Odernheim on March 22, a 2-0 loss to Auersmacher on March 14, a 2-1 loss to Diefflen on March 10, a 6-1 loss at Pirmasens on Nov. 29, a 2-0 loss to Cosmos Koblenz on Nov. 22, a 5-3 loss to Kaiserslautern II on Nov. 15, a 4-1 loss at Rot-Weiß Koblenz on Nov. 8, and a 4-1 win over Wormatia Worms on Nov. 2.
The Interstat simulator’s projection of a 2-2 draw reflects Koblenz’s tendency to share points — six of their last 10 league matches ended in ties. For Eppelborn, the projection represents a slight defensive improvement after conceding 10 goals in their last two outings.
Koblenz sits in the upper half of the Oberliga table; a draw would strengthen their promotion push. Eppelborn, near the relegation zone, needs points to climb away from danger. The Oberliga is a fifth-tier league in the German football pyramid.
Sunday’s match kicks off at a time to be determined. Eppelborn will aim to use home-field advantage to end Koblenz’s extended unbeaten run.
