Victoria Clarholz vs ASC Dortmund

CLARHOLZ, Germany (Interstat) — Victoria Clarholz hosts ASC Dortmund on Sunday, May 3, in an Oberliga clash that pits a team in a recent slump against a visitor riding a lengthy unbeaten streak.

ASC Dortmund enters the match on a 10-game unbeaten run, a stretch highlighted by an 8-0 thrashing of Sprockhovel on March 1 and a 1-0 win over Lippstadt 08 on April 25. The visitors have scored at least three goals in five of their last seven outings and have not lost since February. Their lone stumble in that span was a 1-1 draw at SV Westfalia Rhynern on April 2.

Victoria Clarholz finds itself in a more precarious position: winless in three matches. The home side managed a 2-2 draw at Schermbeck on April 26 but fell 3-1 at home to SV Westfalia Rhynern three days earlier and lost 3-2 at ET Rheine on April 12. Clarholz’s only victory in its last five came March 28 against TuS Hiltrup.

The teams last met Nov. 15, 2025, when ASC Dortmund handled Victoria Clarholz 5-1 on their home turf. That result extended a trend: ASC Dortmund has won four of the last five meetings between the clubs.

Clarholz has shown flashes of resilience, however. It beat Arminia Bielefeld 2-1 on April 6 and won 2-0 at R-W Ahlen on March 8. But defensive lapses have plagued the side. It has conceded three or more goals in three of its last five matches.

ASC Dortmund’s form has been built on balance: a defense that has posted four clean sheets in its last seven games, and an attack that has scored 25 goals over that same span. The club’s Feb. 7 loss to Türkspor Dortmund 2000 remains its only defeat since mid-December.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for ASC Dortmund.

Kickoff is Sunday.
