KFC Uerdingen 05 vs B-W Dingden
KREFELD, Germany (Interstat) — KFC Uerdingen 05 hosts B-W Dingden on Saturday, May 2, in an Oberliga matchup that pits two mid-table sides jockeying for positioning late in the season.
The game kicks off at 3 p.m. local time at the Grotenburg Stadion.
Uerdingen enters the match following a 2-1 win at Monheim on April 12, a victory that snapped a two-game losing streak. Before that, the club had fallen 3-2 to Holzheimer SG on March 28 and lost 3-1 at home to St Tonis 11/20 on March 8. Overall, Uerdingen has won four of its past six league contests, with the only other blemish a 1-1 draw at Vikt Juchen-Garz on Dec. 13. The home side’s defense has been solid, posting three shutouts in that stretch, including a 1-0 win over DJK Adler Union Essen-Frintrop on April 2 and a 1-0 victory against VfB Homberg on March 22.
B-W Dingden comes off a 3-2 road win at SV Biemenhorst on April 19, a result that ended a brief two-match slide. Prior to that, Dingden lost 1-0 at home to Sonsbeck on April 12 and fell 2-1 at Hilden on Feb. 8. The visitor’s form over its past seven league games is mixed: four wins, two losses and one draw. Three of those victories came by a single goal, including a 1-0 decision at SF Baumberg on April 1 and a 1-0 win over Meerbusch on March 22. Dingden also played to a 0-0 draw at Vikt Juchen-Garz on March 27.
Both teams have shown an ability to grind out low-scoring results. Uerdingen has allowed just 1.2 goals per game over its last five, while Dingden’s defense has been stingy, conceding no more than two goals in any contest since a 3-0 loss to DJK Adler Union Essen-Frintrop on Dec. 14.
The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw, a reflection of the evenly matched sides. Uerdingen holds a slight edge in home form, but Dingden has proven dangerous on the road, winning three of its last four away matches.
Saturday’s contest marks the second meeting between the clubs this season. Their earlier encounter ended in a 2-1 victory for Uerdingen on Nov. 2, 2025, though both lineups have seen changes since.
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. local time.
