POITIERS, France (Interstat) — Stade Poitevin will host La Roche-sur-Yon VF on Saturday, April 25, in a National 2 clash at Stade Michel-Amand, with both sides seeking to reverse recent league form.
The match marks the second meeting of the season between the two clubs. La Roche-sur-Yon VF dominated their previous encounter on Dec. 12, 2025, winning 4-0 at home. That result extended La Roche’s head-to-head advantage, but Saturday’s contest offers Poitevin a chance to level the score in front of their own supporters.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw, reflecting the teams’ mixed recent performances.
La Roche-sur-Yon VF enters the match winless in its last two outings. The visitors played to a 1-1 draw at Angoul Charente on April 17, preceded by a 1-1 result at Saint-Malo on April 12. However, the club has shown offensive firepower this season, posting convincing victories: a 4-0 home win over Saumur on April 4, a 5-0 rout at Volt Chateaubriant on March 28, and a 1-0 win at Bordeaux on March 21. Other notable results include a 1-1 draw at Les Herbiers on March 6, a 2-1 win at Montlouis on Feb. 14, a 4-2 win at Dinan Lehon on Feb. 7, a 4-2 home victory over US Granville on Jan. 30, and a 2-1 win over Lorient on Jan. 23.

Prior to that, Poitevin fell 2-1 at Les Herbiers on April 8 and lost 2-1 at home to Saint-Malo on April 3. The club has struggled for consistency, with wins coming sporadically: a 2-1 victory at Saumur on March 28 and a 0-0 draw at Volt Chateaubriant on March 22.
