Wasquehal vs Beauvais

SOCCER PREVIEW: Wasquehal meets Beauvais in National 2 clash

WASQUEHAL, France (Interstat) — Wasquehal hosts Beauvais on Saturday, April 25, in a National 2 matchup as both sides look to build momentum in the second half of the French fourth-division season.

Beauvais enters the contest on a four-match winless streak, with three draws and a loss since mid-March. The visitors played to a 0-0 draw against Chambly-Oise on April 18, following a 2-0 defeat at Bastia-Borgo on April 11. Beauvais has managed only one goal in its last three outings, a stretch that includes a 1-1 draw at FC Thionville on March 29.

The club’s recent form has been erratic. Beauvais suffered a 5-1 loss at Entente SSG on March 14 but rebounded with a 4-1 victory over Chantilly on Feb. 21. The team has shown vulnerability on the road, with three losses and two draws in its last five away matches.

Wasquehal enters Saturday on the back of a 2-0 loss at Furiani-Agliani on April 19. Prior to that, the home team defeated Epinal 2-1 on April 10, snapping a three-match losing streak that included a 1-0 loss to Biesheim on March 28 and a 1-0 defeat at Blois Foot 41 on March 21.

Wasquehal has struggled for consistency, alternating wins with losses over the past two months. The club posted a 3-0 victory over Chambly-Oise on Feb. 21 and a 1-0 win against Bastia-Borgo on Feb. 14, but has failed to score in three of its last four matches.

The teams played to a 0-0 draw on Dec. 13, 2025, in their most recent meeting.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw between the sides.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time at Stade Jean-Baptiste Lebas.
