KARLSRUHE, Germany (Interstat) — Karlsruher will host Hollenbach on Sunday in an Oberliga matchup, with both teams seeking to rebound from uneven stretches in the German fifth-tier league.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time at Wildparkstadion.

Karlsruher enters the match after a 2-0 loss at VfR Mannheim on April 18. That defeat extended a difficult run for the home side, which has won only two of its last seven league games. Karlsruher’s other recent results include a 3-0 home loss to VfR Aalen on April 11, a 2-2 draw at Goppinger SV on April 4, and a 2-0 defeat at Normannia Gmund on March 28. The team’s lone bright spot in that span was a 2-1 victory over Hessen Kassel on March 22.

Hollenbach arrives on a two-match winning streak. The visitors beat Essingen 2-1 at home on April 18, following a 2-1 home loss to Offenburger FV on the same date. Earlier in April, Hollenbach played to a 0-0 draw with VfR Mannheim and lost 2-0 at VfR Aalen. The team’s form has been inconsistent: a 4-1 win over Goppinger SV on March 28 was followed by a 2-2 draw at Normannia Gmund on March 21 and a 3-2 home victory over FSV 08 Bietigheim-Bissingen on March 14.

The most recent meeting between the sides came Oct. 11, 2025, when Karlsruher won 3-2 at Hollenbach.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-2 draw.

Karlsruher will look to improve its home record, which has been mixed. Hollenbach, meanwhile, aims to build momentum ahead of a challenging stretch. Following Sunday’s contest, Karlsruher is scheduled to travel to Hoffenheim II, while Hollenbach will face another Oberliga opponent.

The Oberliga is the fifth tier of German football, sitting below the Regionalliga.
