OSLO (Interstat) — FK Bodø/Glimt and SK Brann played to a 3-3 draw Saturday in the NM Cupen at Ullevaal Stadion.

Thore Pedersen opened the scoring for Brann in the eighth minute. Felix Myhre equalized for Bodø/Glimt in the 39th minute. Kristall Máni Ingason put the visitors ahead again a minute later, but Ola Brynhildsen’s 86th-minute goal for the hosts forced the stalemate.

Both teams recorded 0-0-1 records in the competition and across all competitions with the result.

The match marked the season opener for both sides in Norway’s knockout cup. Brann struck first with Pedersen’s early finish before Myhre capitalized on a loose ball inside the box to level. Ingason restored Brann’s advantage immediately, slotting home from close range just before halftime.

Bodø/Glimt pressed in the second half and finally broke through when Brynhildsen converted a cross from the right flank in the closing stages. Neither team could find a winner in the remaining minutes, leaving both to settle for a point.

The draw sets up a return to league play for both clubs in the coming week.
