FC Déifferdeng 03 vs Rodange
LUXEMBOURG (Interstat) — FC Déifferdeng 03 hosts Rodange on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in a Luxembourg Cup matchup that pits a dominant home side against a visiting team struggling for consistency.
The teams last met Feb. 22, when Déifferdeng crushed Rodange 6-0. Prior to that, they drew 2-2 on Nov. 26, 2025. Déifferdeng enters Wednesday’s match with strong momentum, having beaten Prog Niederkorn 3-2 on May 8. The victory extended a run in which Déifferdeng has won four of its last five matches overall, including a 3-0 shutout of Victoria Rosport on April 19 and a 5-1 thrashing of Swift Hesperange on April 12. The only blemish in that stretch was a 0-0 draw at home against FC UNA Strassen on May 3.
Rodange, meanwhile, arrives with a 3-2 loss at Atert Bissen on May 10, its seventh defeat in nine matches. The lone bright spots in that span were a 2-1 victory at FC UNA Strassen on April 19 and a 3-1 win over Victoria Rosport on April 4. Since March 8, Rodange has managed just one win, two draws and seven losses, slipping to 1-5-4 in its last 10 overall. The defense has been porous, allowing multiple goals in five of those contests.
Interstat’s game simulator projects a 3-0 victory for Déifferdeng, reflecting the home team’s superior form and head-to-head record.
The Luxembourg Cup is a single-elimination tournament featuring clubs from across the country’s divisions. The winner earns a spot in the UEFA Conference League qualifying rounds. Déifferdeng, currently leading the BGL Ligue, will look to continue its treble hopes. Rodange, playing in the second-tier Division of Honour, aims to pull an upset.
Following Wednesday’s tie, both teams return to league play. Déifferdeng hosts UN Käerjéng 97 on May 17 then visits Atert Bissen on May 23. Rodange hosts Mamer on May 17 before traveling to Racing FC Union Lëtzebuerg on May 23.
Kickoff is at Stade Municipale in Déifferdeng.
