CHART RES, France (Interstat) — C Chartres U19 hosts SC Bastia 2 on Saturday, April 25, in a National 3 match that carries postseason implications for both sides.

The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. local kickoff.

Chartres enters the contest following a 1-1 draw at CS Bretigny Football on April 18. That result extended a mixed stretch for the home side, which has gone 3-2-1 in its last six outings, including a 1-0 victory over Havre Caucriauville Sportif on April 4. However, Chartres suffered a 4-1 loss to Lorient U19 on March 22 and a 3-1 defeat to RC France Football on March 21.

Bastia 2 arrives on a two-match winning streak. The visitors defeated Sainte-Genevieve Sports 3-2 at home on April 18, following a 3-1 victory at Havre Caucriauville Sportif on April 11. Before those wins, Bastia 2 had gone three matches without a victory, though it has been competitive in a tightly packed league table.

The teams last met on Jan. 10, when Bastia 2 defeated Chartres 2-1 at home. That result snapped a run of two draws between the sides in prior meetings.
