Bischofshofen vs Lauterach
BISCHOFSHOFEN, Austria (Interstat) — Bischofshofen hosts Lauterach on Saturday in a Regionalliga match, with both teams seeking consistency as the season enters its final weeks.
Bischofshofen (4-1 winners at Lustenau on May 9) enters the contest at home after a 4-0 loss to Wacker Innsbruck on May 2. That defeat snapped a stretch of three wins in four games for Bischofshofen, including a 3-0 shutout of Wals-Grunau on April 18 and a 3-1 victory at Pinz Saalfelden on April 10. Overall, Bischofshofen has won six of its last nine Regionalliga matches dating back to November.
Lauterach arrives following a 3-2 loss at home to Lustenau on May 2. The defeat extended a difficult run for the visitors, who have lost five of their last seven games. Lauterach’s only victory in that span came March 21, a 4-3 win over Rheindorf Alt II. The team has been outscored 18-8 in its past seven matches and conceded six goals in a 6-2 loss at Dornbirn on April 3.
The teams met Oct. 11, 2025, with Bischofshofen winning 3-1 at Lauterach. Interstat’s game simulator projects a repeat of that scoreline Saturday, forecasting a 3-1 home victory.
Bischofshofen’s defense has been stout in recent weeks, allowing one goal or fewer in six of its last nine outings. The back line has been especially strong at home, where the team has recorded clean sheets in two of its past three home regionalliga contests.
Lauterach, meanwhile, has struggled to contain opponents, allowing three or more goals in five of its last seven games. The visitors have not recorded a shutout since a 2-0 win at Kuchl on Oct. 31, 2025.
Both teams face quick turnarounds after Saturday. Bischofshofen travels to MS Korneuburg on May 30, while Lauterach hosts MS Korneuburg on May 22.
Saturday’s match kicks off at a time to be determined at Bischofshofen’s home stadium.
