King opened the scoring in the 29th minute with a right-footed goal and sealed the victory in the 90th minute with another right-footed strike. Mohammed Khubrani recorded an assist on King’s first goal. Al Khaleej improved to 6 wins, 12 losses and 5 draws in league play. Damac fell to 5 wins, 10 losses and 8 draws. Yellow cards were issued to Majed Kanabah in the 32nd minute, Khubrani in the 37th, Tariq Mohammed and King in the 43rd, and Kostas Fortounis in the 73rd. Al Khaleej next faces Al Hilal on May 5, while Damac travels to Al Nassr on May 21.
