KATTAMEYA, Egypt (Interstat) — Rasheed Ahmed scored deep in first-half stoppage time to deliver Petrojet a 1-0 victory over Pharco in an Egyptian Premier League match Saturday at Petrosport Stadium.

Ahmed netted the decisive goal in the 45th+5 minute, converting after a buildup that included substitute Abdelrahman Rashdan. The match was a physical affair, featuring five yellow cards, including one to Ahmed just minutes before his goal.

The result in the league fixture improves Petrojet’s record to seven wins, six losses and seven draws. Pharco’s struggles continued, falling to four wins, 11 losses and eight draws. Petrojet also swept the season series, having played to a draw in the earlier meeting.
