DEKANI, Slovenia (Interstat) — Jadran Dekani will host Koper U19 on Monday, May 4, 2026, in a 1. Mladinska Liga matchup that pits two struggling sides against each other at a critical juncture in the Slovenian youth season.

The game marks the second meeting between the clubs this campaign. In their most recent head-to-head on Oct. 26, 2025, Koper U19 defeated Jadran Dekani 3-1 at home. That result extended Koper’s dominance in the series, but Monday’s contest figures to be tighter based on recent form.

Koper U19 enters the match after a 3-2 loss to Ilirija on April 12, a defeat that followed a 3-0 setback at Celje U19 on April 6. The visitors have struggled for consistency, posting only two wins in their last seven outings — a 5-0 victory over NK Rudar Velenje U19 on March 18 and a 3-1 win against Ilir Ljubljana U19 on Feb. 22. Losses to Radomlje (4-2), Brinje Grosup U19 (2-0), Bravo U19 (2-1), NK Aluminij U19 (4-2) and Mura U19 (2-1) have left Koper U19 searching for form away from home.

Jadran Dekani, meanwhile, played to a 1-1 draw with Brinje Grosuplje on April 29, a result that snapped a two-game losing streak. Prior to that, Jadran Dekani defeated NK Fužinar Ravne U19 4-0 on April 26 but fell 2-0 to Beltinci the day before. The home side has been inconsistent, with draws against Bilje (2-2) and Ilirija (2-2) mixed with defeats to Nafta (3-0), Bravo U19 (7-0) and Tabor Sezana (2-0). A 2-1 win over Radomlje on April 12 provided a rare bright spot.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, Monday’s match is projected to end in a 1-1 draw.

Jadran Dekani’s schedule remains busy after this fixture. The team travels to Brezice on May 9, then hosts Slovan Ljubljana on May 10 before visiting Rudar on May 16.
