ZAVRC, Slovenia (Interstat) — Zavrc hosts NK Race on Saturday in a 3. SNL clash, with both teams seeking consistency in the Slovenian third division.

The match follows a scoreless draw between the sides on Oct. 25, 2025. That result extended a trend of tight encounters, with neither team able to break through.

NK Race enters the game after a 2-0 loss at Carda Martjanci on Sunday. The defeat snapped a three-match unbeaten run that included a 3-1 win at NK Podvinci on April 25 and a 1-1 draw at SD Videm on April 11. However, NK Race has been inconsistent, suffering a 5-1 home loss to Fuzinar on April 18 while also recording a 5-1 win at Dobrovce on April 4. The visitors have managed four wins, three draws and three losses in their last 10 league matches.

Zavrc comes off a 3-2 victory at NK Podvinci on April 30. That win ended a three-game losing streak that included a 4-1 home loss to Fuzinar on April 25, a 1-0 defeat at SD Videm on April 19 and a 2-1 loss at Rogaska on April 4. Before that slide, Zavrc had posted back-to-back wins, beating Dobrovce 3-0 on April 11 and NK Hajdina 2-0 on March 14. The home side has won four, lost five and drawn one of its last 10 outings.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

Following Saturday’s game, NK Race visits Brezice on May 16. Zavrc travels to Carda Martjanci the same day.
