MSK Žilina B vs Ko's'ice

ŽILINA, Slovakia (Interstat) — MSK Žilina B hosts Ko’s’ice on Friday in a Slovak Cup matchup, with both teams seeking a return to form after recent losses.

The game at Štadión MSK Žilina kicks off at an undetermined time. The teams last met Nov. 2, 2025, when Žilina B won 3-1 at home. That result is the only head-to-head in the available records.

Žilina B (5-4-11 in all competitions) enters after a 4-2 loss at ŠK Slovan Bratislava B on Sunday. The reserves have lost four of their past five outings, including a 2-0 home defeat to Liptovsky Mikulas on April 18 and a 4-1 setback at Zlate Moravce on April 12. Their last win came March 1, a 1-0 victory over FK Pohronie.

Ko’s’ice (6-7-7) comes off a 1-1 draw at OFK Baník Lehota on Sunday. The club’s form has been inconsistent: a 1-0 loss at OFK Dynamo Malženice on Wednesday, a 1-0 win at Petrzalka on April 19, and a 4-1 defeat at ŠK Slovan Bratislava B on April 12. Ko’s’ice’s last victory before the Petrzalka match was a 4-0 win over Liptovsky Mikulas on March 15.

The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw.

Both sides will face each other again later this season in the 2. liga, on May 15, also at Žilina.

Ko’s’ice’s recent scoring has been sparse – three goals in its past four matches – but the defense held Lehota to one goal Sunday. Žilina B has conceded 10 goals in its past three games, a concern for coach Jaroslav Kentoš.

The winner advances in the Cup. Neither team has announced lineup changes.

Upcoming schedules: Ko’s’ice visits MFK Zvolen on Saturday, then hosts Inter Bratislava on May 9. Žilina B hosts OFK Dynamo Malženice on May 3, then travels to Zvolen on May 8.

Kickoff weather is expected to be mild, with temperatures around 15 degrees Celsius.
