BIEL/BIENNE, Switzerland (April 15, 2026) (Interstat) — Switzerland U19 earned a decisive 2-0 victory over England U19 in a UEFA U19 Championship qualification match Wednesday at Tissot Arena.

Forward Emanuela Pfister powered the Swiss attack, scoring both goals. She opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and sealed the win with a second goal in the 75th. Pfister also received a yellow card in the 59th minute. England’s Vera Jones was cautioned in the 69th.

The result marked a successful start to the qualification campaign for Switzerland, which improved its tournament record to one win and no losses. England began its qualification effort with a loss, moving its record in the competition to no wins and one loss.
