PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (April 12, 2026) (Interstat) — Phnom Penh Crown began its C-League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Angkor Tiger at Smart RSN Stadium on Sunday.

The home side controlled the match, breaking through in the 50th minute when forward Andrés Nieto scored. Midfielder Moses Dyer sealed the win with a second goal in the 85th minute. Substitute Ny Sokry and defender Raul Feher were among the players credited with assists.

The result defied a pregame statistical projection that favored Crown but forecast a 3-1 scoreline. Angkor Tiger’s challenge was hampered by four yellow cards issued throughout the match.

With the win, Phnom Penh Crown starts the season with a perfect record, while Angkor Tiger seeks its first victory.
