VIENNA (Interstat) — Alt/Vorderland W will look to continue its recent dominance over SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg when the two Frauenliga sides meet Sunday.

The matchup, scheduled for April 26, 2026, brings together teams heading in opposite directions. Alt/Vorderland W has won both meetings this season by identical 6-2 scores — most recently Dec. 7, 2025, in a road victory.

SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg enters on a four-match losing streak. The visitors dropped a 3-1 decision to Saint Polten W on March 29, and have managed just one win in their last 13 league contests. Their most recent road test resulted in a 5-0 loss at FK Austria Wien on March 25.

Alt/Vorderland W suffered its own setback in its last outing, a 2-0 home loss to Sturm Graz W on March 29. That defeat snapped a stretch of three wins in four matches for the home side, which sits mid-table.

A statistical projection by Interstat’s game simulator favors Alt/Vorderland W 4-0.

SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg will look to reverse a trend that has seen it surrender six goals in each of the two prior meetings. The visitors’ defense has been porous throughout the season, allowing at least three goals in nine of their last 11 matches.

Following Sunday’s contest, SpG Südburgenland/Hartberg hosts Neulengbach W on May 3. Alt/Vorderland W welcomes First Vienna FC 1894 the same day.
