OSPITALETTO, Italy (Interstat) — ACD Ospitaletto defeated UC AlbinoLeffe 3-0 on Sunday in a Serie C football match at Stadio Comunale Ospitaletto.

The hosts broke through in the 55th minute with a goal from Riccardo Nessi. Mattia Guarneri added a second just four minutes later in the 59th. Francesco Gobbi sealed the comprehensive victory with a third goal in the 81st minute.

The result defied a pregame projection that favored a draw. Ospitaletto improved its league record to eight wins, five losses and six draws. AlbinoLeffe, which was held scoreless, fell to five wins, 10 losses and six draws. The teams played to a 1-1 draw in their previous meeting last December.
