VICENZA, Italy (Interstat) — Vicenza scored three times in a stunning two-minute span just before halftime to defeat Novara FC 3-1 in a Serie C match Saturday at Stadio Romeo Menti.

The match exploded in the 45th minute when Nicolò Ledonne opened the scoring. Lorenzo Caferri added another in stoppage time, and David Stückler struck just 60 seconds later to give the hosts a commanding 3-0 lead at the break. Novara managed a second-half consolation goal.

The victory solidifies Vicenza’s strong league position, while Novara’s struggles continue. The result defied a pregame statistical projection that heavily favored Vicenza but forecast a lower-scoring draw.
