VELENJE, Slovenia (Interstat) — NK Rudar Velenje U19 hosts Mura U19 on Monday, April 27, 2026, in a 1. Mladinska Liga fixture at Ob Jezeru City Stadium.

The matchup carries playoff implications as the Slovenian youth season enters its final stretch. Rudar Velenje enters the contest following a 2-1 loss at NK Zeleznicar Maribor on April 19, while Mura won its most recent match 1-0 at Krka U19 on April 4.

In the teams’ last head-to-head meeting Oct. 22, Rudar Velenje won 2-0 at Mura.

Mura has struggled for consistency this season. After the Oct. 22 loss to Rudar, Mura posted three wins in its next four matches — 3-1 at Ilirija, 3-3 draw at Domzale and 2-1 win at Koper — but has since lost four of its last seven outings, including a 4-0 defeat at Bravo on Dec. 8 and a 2-1 loss at Celje on March 2. Mura’s last victory before beating Krka was a 2-0 win at Radomlje on Feb. 22. The team also played to a scoreless draw at NK Fužinar Ravne on March 15.

Rudar Velenje, meanwhile, has endured an uneven campaign. After the Oct. 22 win over Mura, the team drew 2-2 with NK Aluminij on Nov. 15 but then lost three straight — 3-1 at Celje, 2-1 at NK Fužinar Ravne and 2-0 at Bravo. Rudar earned a 4-1 win against Krka on March 1 and a 0-0 draw at Ilir Ljubljana on March 6 before being blanked 5-0 at Koper on March 18. The team has lost four of its last five matches.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-2 draw.

Both teams face quick turnarounds. Mura hosts Ilirija on May 1. Rudar Velenje visits NK Aluminij on May 3.

Expected start is 5 p.m. local time.
