BELFAST, Northern Ireland (April 11, 2026) (Interstat) — Larne FC delivered a decisive 2-0 away victory over Linfield in a Premiership match Saturday at Windsor Park, defying pregame projections. Matthew Lusty opened the scoring in the eighth minute, and Matt Ridley sealed the win in the 75th minute. The result marked a strong start to Larne’s league campaign, while Linfield began its season with a home defeat. The outcome was a statistical surprise, as Linfield had been projected with an 80.7% win probability and a simulated 1-1 draw.
