MUNICH (Interstat) — FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich Women meet Saturday, April 25, in a UEFA Women’s Champions League showdown, with the Spanish side seeking to avenge a lopsided defeat earlier this season.

The match at the Allianz Arena comes after Barcelona routed Bayern 7-1 on Oct. 7, 2025, in the teams’ most recent meeting. That result remains the last loss for Barcelona, which has won six consecutive matches since, outscoring opponents 22-2.

Barcelona enters Saturday’s matchup on a dominant run. Most recently, the Catalan side defeated Real Madrid Femenino 6-0 on April 2 and beat Madrid again 6-2 on March 25. Barcelona also posted shutouts against Paris FC (2-0) and Benfica (3-1) in December. The team’s only other blemish this season was a 1-1 draw at Chelsea on Nov. 20.

Bayern Munich has won its last three matches, including a 3-2 victory at Union Berlin on Wednesday. The German side’s defensive form has been strong, with five clean sheets in its past six games. Bayern shut out Nurnberg 2-0 on March 28 and defeated Manchester United 3-2 on March 25.

Bayern has also beaten Wolfsburg 4-1 and SGS Essen 5-0 this season.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a Barcelona 2-1 win. Barcelona leads the all-time series, but Bayern will look to make home-field advantage count.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. local time. Barcelona’s next Champions League fixture has not been announced. Bayern hosts Werder Bremen on Wednesday.
