RB Leipzig W host Werder Bremen W in Frauen Bundesliga clash

LEIPZIG, Germany (Interstat) — RB Leipzig W will aim to build momentum in the Frauen Bundesliga when they host Werder Bremen W on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2 p.m. local time.

The matchup pits two sides trending in opposite directions. RB Leipzig (7-7-4) enters unbeaten in their last five league matches, including a 1-1 draw at Carl Zeiss Jena on March 27. That result extended a run that features wins over Freiburg and Nurnberg, as well as draws against Union Berlin and SGS Essen. However, Leipzig’s defense has shown cracks, conceding 10 goals across their last five contests.

Werder Bremen (5-8-6) arrives after a gritty scoreless draw at league-leading VfL Wolfsburg on Wednesday, April 22. The result snapped a two-match losing streak for Bremen, who had fallen 4-1 at Union Berlin and 2-1 at home to SGS Essen in March. Bremen’s form has been erratic: they have managed just two wins in their last 10 league outings, with the other victory coming Dec. 12 against Bayer Leverkusen.

The sides last met Nov. 9, 2025, when Werder Bremen earned a 2-1 home win over Leipzig. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 3-1 victory for the home side Saturday.

Following this fixture, Leipzig travels to VfL Wolfsburg on May 2. Werder Bremen hosts Bayern Munich on April 29.
