VIENNA (Interstat) — Carina Wenninger scored in the 11th minute of second-half stoppage time Saturday, lifting FK Austria Wien to a 1-1 draw with Saint Polten W at Generali Arena in a Frauenliga match. Leila Peneau also scored for the visitors.

Wenninger’s goal came after Saint Polten had taken the lead. The hosts improved to 19 wins, zero losses and two draws in league play, while Saint Polten moved to 19 wins, two losses and three draws. Across all competitions, Austria Wien is 19-0-3, and Saint Polten is 23-7-4.

The match featured six yellow cards, issued to Victoria Laino, Carina Brunold, Katharina Schiechtl, Tatjana Weiss, Virginia Kirchberger and Almedina Sisic. Schiechtl received a red card in the sixth minute of stoppage time. Assists went to Kirchberger, Laino, Weiss, Brunold, Sisic and Schiechtl.
