ATLANTA (Interstat) — Yoane Wissa scored twice, including a stoppage-time goal, to lead Congo DR to a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Eldor Shomurodov gave Uzbekistan an early lead in the 10th minute. Fiston Mayele equalized for Congo DR in the 78th minute, and Wissa added the go-ahead goal in the first minute of second-half stoppage time. Wissa, a midfielder, finished with two goals. Nathanael Mbuku and Samuel Moutoussamy each recorded an assist for Congo DR, while Sherzod Nasrullayev and Abduqodir Xusanov had assists for Uzbekistan.

The match featured five yellow cards. Noah Sadiki (21st minute), Xusanov (43rd), Mbuku (45+5), Nasrullayev (48th) and Moutoussamy (62nd) were cautioned.

Congo DR improved to 1-1 in the competition and 2-2-1 overall. Uzbekistan fell to 0-3 in the competition and 2-3-1 overall.
