MARRAKESH, Morocco (Interstat) — Kawkab Marrakech and FAR Rabat opened their Botola Pro campaigns with a 0-0 draw Sunday at Grand Stade de Marrakech.

The match, played April 5, 2026, failed to produce a goal despite numerous chances. The defensive stalemate left both clubs with identical records of 0-0-1 to start the domestic season. FAR Rabat had entered as a slight favorite, projected with a 52.2% win probability by statistical models that anticipated a 1-1 result.

Discipline waned as the game progressed, with eight yellow cards issued. Abdelfattah Hadraf received the first booking in the 25th minute, setting a tone for a physical second half. Key performances came from midfielders Hamza Rafa and Claude Gnolou, who orchestrated play but could not break the deadlock.
