THESSALONIKI, Greece (Interstat) — PAOK hosts AEK Athens on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in a Super League 1 clash at Toumba Stadium, with both sides seeking momentum as the season enters its final stretch.

The fixture carries weight in the Greek top flight, where AEK Athens enters on a three-match unbeaten run and PAOK aims to bounce back after a 1-1 draw at Olympiakos SFP on May 10.

Head-to-head, these rivals split their most recent meetings. AEK Athens dominated the last encounter, a 3-0 home win on April 19, 2026. That followed a scoreless draw in Thessaloniki on Feb. 15, 2026, and a 2-0 PAOK victory in October 2025. The April 19 result marked AEK’s largest margin in the series since at least October 2025.

AEK Athens arrives with strong form, having defeated Panathinaikos AO 2-1 on May 10, 2026, and posted a 0-0 draw at Panathinaikos on May 3. The club’s recent season results show resilience: 1-0 wins over Olympiakos SFP (April 5) and AE Larisas 1964 (March 7), a 2-2 draw at Volos NFC (March 1), and a 4-0 rout of APO Levadeiakos (Feb. 22). AEK’s only defeat in its past seven league matches was the May 3 result, which was a scoreless draw on the road.

PAOK’s recent run includes a 3-1 home win over Olympiakos SFP on May 3 and a 3-1 victory against Makedonikos Foufas on April 26, sandwiching the April 19 loss at AEK. The club also drew 1-1 with Nest Chrisoupolis on April 18 and 0-0 at Panathinaikos AO on April 5. Earlier season results show PAOK’s attacking capability: a 4-1 win at Kifisias (March 4) and a 2-0 victory at Asteras Tripolis (March 1), but also a 2-1 loss to AD Ceuta FC in a non-league fixture on Feb. 19.

The Interstat game simulator projects a 1-1 draw, reflecting the evenly matched nature of the series. AEK Athens’ next fixture after Wednesday is a home match against Olympiakos SFP on May 17. PAOK faces a busy May 17: a home match against Levski Sofia and a road game at Panathinaikos AO on the same day.

Kickoff is set for Wednesday evening at Toumba Stadium.
