DASAKI ACHNAS, Cyprus (Interstat) — Ethnikos Achna secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Anorthosis in a 1. Division match Sunday at Stadio Dasaki Achnas.

The result defied pregame projections, as Interstat’s game simulator had predicted a 1-1 draw and its ELO system gave Anorthosis a 65.5% probability to win. The lone goal was enough for the home side to split the season series, after Anorthosis won the prior meeting 1-0 in January.

With the win, Ethnikos Achna improved its league record to six wins, 14 losses and one draw. Anorthosis, which failed to score, moved to six wins, eight losses and eight draws in league play. The match was played on April 5, 2026.
