KhorFakkan S&CC vs Al Bataeh CSC

KHOR FAKKAN, United Arab Emirates (Interstat) — KhorFakkan S&CC and Al Bataeh CSC played to a 1-1 draw Saturday in an Arabian Gulf League match at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium, a result that did little to lift either side from the lower reaches of the table.

The match, played on April 11, 2026, saw both goals scored by substitutes in the second half, with the visitors striking first. Al Bataeh’s Álvaro Felicíssimo broke the deadlock in the 47th minute, finishing a play from close range to give his team the lead. The assist was credited to midfielder Ahmadou Camara.

KhorFakkan responded just before the hour mark. In the 61st minute, forward Aylton Boa Morte leveled the score with a headed goal, capitalizing on service from fellow substitute Ulrich Meleke.

The game was a physical affair, with five yellow cards issued by the officiating crew. The first half saw a double booking in the 33rd minute, with Al Bataeh’s Mohammad Juma Eid and KhorFakkan’s Ahmadou Camara both cautioned. The second half saw three more, with Al Bataeh’s Ulrich Meleke booked in the 82nd minute, followed by late cautions for KhorFakkan defender Akram Nakach and Al Bataeh forward Tarik Tissoudali in stoppage time.

The result extends Al Bataeh’s winless streak in the league to four matches, their last victory coming against Kalba SCC in November. Their season record in the Arabian Gulf League now stands at 3 wins, 10 losses and 6 draws. Across all competitions, they hold an identical 3-10-6 record.

For KhorFakkan, the draw follows a 2-1 victory over Baniyas SCC the previous weekend. They now have a league record of 5 wins, 10 losses and 8 draws this season. Their overall record across all tournaments is 6-11-9.

The match was a reversal of the teams’ previous meeting on Aug. 24, 2025, when Al Bataeh secured a 2-1 home victory. The draw on Saturday was precisely the final score projected by Interstat’s game simulator prior to kickoff, though the same service’s ELO rating system had given KhorFakkan a 76.2 percent probability of winning at home.

Both teams will return to Arabian Gulf League action on Thursday, April 23. Al Bataeh CSC will host Al Ain FC, while KhorFakkan S&CC will travel to face Shabab Al Ahli Dubai FC.
