SHKODËR, Albania (Interstat) — Kevin Dodaj’s 43rd-minute goal Sunday propelled Vllaznia Shkoder to a 1-0 victory over Teuta Durres in an Albanian 1st Division match at Stadiumi Loro Boriçi.

The decisive strike just before halftime secured three points for the hosts, defying a pregame projection from Interstat that forecast a 1-1 draw. The win strengthens Vllaznia’s league campaign, improving their record to 12 wins, three losses and seven draws. Teuta Durres, which was given an 18.1% chance to win by statistical models, saw its record in the competition fall to five wins, seven losses and seven draws. The result completed a league double for Vllaznia over Teuta this season, having also won 1-0 in Durres on Feb. 1.
