Gandzasar vs Noah
YEREVAN, Armenia (Interstat) — Noah delivered a commanding away performance Friday, defeating Gandzasar 3-0 in an Armenian Premier League match at Junior Sports Stadium.
The victory, built on a dominant second-half display, extends Noah’s strong recent form and deepens Gandzasar’s struggles near the bottom of the league table. The match defied the pregame projection from Interstat’s game simulator, which had forecast a 1-1 draw. The same analytics system had given Noah a 79.6 percent probability to win.
After a first half with few clear chances, the visitors broke through just before halftime. Forward Matheus Aiás found the net in the 42nd minute, giving Noah a crucial lead heading into the break.
The second half saw Noah solidify control. Midfielder Sergei Muradyan doubled the advantage in the 60th minute, putting the result increasingly out of reach for the home side. Striker Nardin Mulahusejnović then sealed the three points, scoring twice in the final 20 minutes. He netted his first in the 74th minute and added a second in the third minute of second-half stoppage time to complete the comprehensive scoreline.
The win improves Noah’s league record to nine wins, five losses and six draws this season, strengthening its position in the top half of the standings. The team has now won three of its last four league matches, including a 2-0 victory over Yerevan just five days prior. Across all competitions, Noah stands at 20 wins, 11 losses and 10 draws.
For Gandzasar, the defeat marks another setback in a difficult campaign. Its league record falls to three wins, 10 losses and six draws, with only six total victories in all competitions this season against 11 losses and 10 draws. The team has managed just one win in its last five league outings.
The result continues a one-sided trend in the recent series between the clubs. The teams’ last meeting, on Aug. 17, 2025, also ended in a 4-1 victory for Noah.
Noah will look to maintain momentum with a busy schedule ahead. The team is set to face Ararat-Armenia in an Armenian Cup match on April 16, followed by a league fixture against Van on April 20. Gandzasar seeks to rebound in its next match, a league encounter on the road against Yerevan on April 19.
