MOREIRA DE CÓNEGOS, Portugal (April 20, 2026) (Interstat) — Moreirense opened its Primeira Liga season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Estoril on Monday at Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas.

The match’s lone goal came early when midfielder Alan found the net in the 12th minute. His finish was set up by a pair of substitutes, with Ferro providing the assist and Antef Tsoungui earning a secondary assist. Ferro and Tsoungui later received yellow cards in the second half.

The result defied the pregame projection from Interstat, whose simulator had forecast a 1-1 draw. Its analytics gave Moreirense a 59.5% probability to win. Moreirense begins the campaign at 1-0-0, while Estoril starts 0-1-0.
