WAREGEM, Belgium (Interstat) — Marley Aké and Bryan Goncalves each scored in the first half to lift Zultearegem to a 2-1 victory over Dender on Saturday in a First Division A match at Elindus Arena. Aké opened the scoring in the 41st minute, assisted by Desmond Acquah. Goncalves added a goal in first-half stoppage time, with Krzysztof Kotoń providing the assist. Luc De Fougerolles also picked up an assist for Zultearegem. Dender pulled a goal back in the second half but could not equalize. The win improved Zultearegem’s league record to 11-11-8, while Dender fell to 5-17-8. Yellow cards were issued to Laurent Lemoine, Roman Květ, De Fougerolles, Luc Marijnissen, Kotoń and Acquah. The home side avenged a 1-0 loss to Dender on Feb. 7.
