BRUGGE, Belgium (Interstat) — Cercle Brugge began its First Division A campaign with a commanding 3-0 win over visiting Louviere Centre on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Jan Breydelstadion. Forward Steve Ngoura led the attack with two first-half goals, scoring in the second minute and again in stoppage time before the break. Midfielder Oluwaseun Adewumi sealed the victory with a goal in the 89th minute. Substitute Wagane Faye and defender Valy Konaté each provided an assist. Both Konaté and Faye also received yellow cards in the second half. The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Cercle Brugge a 54.3% chance to win and simulated a 1-1 draw.
