SPANISH TOWN, British Virgin Islands (Interstat) — The Panthers delivered a commanding 6-0 victory over the Avengers on Sunday at Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground in BVIFA National League play.

Ezra Alleyne opened the scoring in the seventh minute and added a second goal in the 37th. Romario Williams and Zeveih Abraham scored three minutes apart midway through the first half. Nigel Sanderson and Omari Simmons scored quick second-half goals to complete the rout.

The Panthers, who also beat the Avengers 10-0 in November, improved their league record to 10 wins, one loss and three draws. The Avengers fell to 2-11 this season. The result far exceeded the statistical projection of a 4-1 Panthers win.
