Dinamo Moscow, Krasnodar Play to Scoreless Draw in Russian Cup
MOSKVA (Interstat) — FK Dinamo Moscow and Krasnodar played to a 0-0 draw in a Russian Cup match Wednesday at VTB Arena.
The match was a physical, defensive struggle that produced more yellow cards than scoring chances. Krasnodar’s Lucas Olaza received the first booking in the 17th minute, setting the tone for a contest that saw six total yellow cards. Dinamo Moscow substitute Aleksandr Chernikov was sent off with a red card in first-half stoppage time.
Despite the man advantage for the final minutes, Krasnodar could not break the deadlock. The result extends Krasnodar’s strong form in the competition, while Dinamo Moscow remains with just one loss in its Cup campaign. The teams will meet again in Premier League play on May 11.
